Barnes & Noble welcomed Building Blocks’ staff and friends for a Pajama Story Night organized by our very fabulous Parents’ Group. The children wore their favorite pajamas and their parents wore happy faces as the kids sat for an evening of stories at the Barnes & Noble in Commack. Many staff were on hand to lend their dramatic talent animating a wide variety of children’s favorites including Brown Bear, Click, Clack Boo, Llama, Llama Red Pajama, In the House That Was Haunted, The Big Green Monster and, of course its sibling The Little Green Monster, Boo Who, Snappy Sounds Halloween Ball and many more. The children also had the opportunity to decorate cupcakes in the Café and do arts and crafts in between browsing through the shelves of books. Things really got groovin’ when Miss Erinkelly and her husband (complete with bongo and guitar) rocked “The Noble” with song and dance. The children had a wonderful time and all headed home for a peaceful night’s sleep.
